About Me
“ We evolve by becoming involved with our feelings.“
Warm Welcome! My name is Marsha. I have a bachelor in Sociology and a Masters of Social Work from Georgia Southern University. I have vast experience dealing with adults, children, adolescents, and their families as a social worker. Since 2015, I have been practicing social work, engaging in guest speaking and hosting various seminars.
I work with individuals, couples and families while treating clients with special needs and disabilities. I also enjoy working with members of the LGBTQ+ A community and as an African American women, I have a distinct perspective that allows me to understand some of the cultural challenges with seeking therapy. I have a plethora of tools and methods which I have garnered over my many years of work, through my education, training and unique experiences.
My focal point is heavily rooted in identifying barriers and finding healthy solutions for a more fullfilled life. Everyone in life will experience challenges and face many obstacles. I am your guide for advocacy in overcoming those obstacles and challenges
I am passionate in meeting clients where they are and assist them in meeting their goals. In my own personal experiences, I had to work hard to overcome many obstacles. After all my aquired skills, education and tools I have gathered, I knew my purpose to help others.
With a gentle and light hearted approach, I am here to help you become the best version of you. Applying various mental health modalities to assist you in whatever you might currently be struggling with. From depression, to time management, to communication challenges, I can give you the necessary tools to start living your best life.
